Alver Valley Trail

Details

The Alver Valley is a landscape dominated by the medieval water meadows running north-south, and with the Motte and Bailey, medieval Grange Farm, evidence for numerous Neolithic finds, a long barrow, pill boxes and ancient woodland. The heritage trail in the Alver Valley was put together as part of ‘Walking Past’, a project to raise awareness of heritage in the Borough and encourage people to get outdoors.
