Gosport Borough Council has launched the brand-new What’s On Guide 2025, a must-have for residents and visitors looking to make the most of the town’s vibrant events calendar.

The guide is now being printed and distributed across Gosport, and it’s also available to download online. All listings can also be found online here at Discover Gosport.

🚲 Round the Harbours Bike Ride – 5 July

Cyclists of all abilities can take part in this scenic charity ride, starting from Bay House School. Choose from 32 or 54-mile routes, with ferry crossings and rest stops along the way. A great way to explore the coast and support a good cause.

🎭 Shakespeare in the Open Air – 22–25 July

Enjoy Much Ado About Nothing under the stars at Little Woodham, Gosport’s 17th-century village. This charming outdoor theatre experience blends history and drama in a unique setting, with all proceeds going to charity.

🎶 Gosport Waterfront Festival – 25–27 July

Walpole Park will come alive with music, food, and family fun during this three-day extravaganza. Expect headline acts like Republica and Odyssey, a packed line-up of local talent, street food, funfair rides, and market stalls. It’s the ultimate summer celebration for all ages.

🌅 Gosport Sunset Festival – 29–31 August

This free music and arts festival transforms Walpole Park into a vibrant cultural hub. With live performances, world food, craft stalls, kids’ entertainment, and even burlesque shows, it’s a weekend of creativity and community spirit.

🎄 Christmas Lights Switch-On – 29 November

Kick off the festive season in style with Gosport’s magical Christmas Market and Light Switch-On. With over 70 stalls, live music, street performers, and a countdown hosted by Greatest Hits Radio’s Mark Collins, it’s a night to remember.

🎅 Santa’s in the Park – 21 December

Wrap up warm and head to Leesland Park for a festive meet-and-greet with Father Christmas himself. Children receive a free gift, and it’s the perfect chance to post those last-minute wish lists!
