On Sunday September 21st, as part of Gosport’s Heritage Open Day, the theatre organ at Thorngate Halls will be on show to the public.

The organ is 90 years old, built to accompany silent movies. Gosport Council have provided a generous grant to refurbish the parts of the organ that are showing their age. We would love to tell the public about the refurbishment project, show them behind the scenes, let them hear the wonderful organ sound, and even encourage them to have a go at the keyboard themselves.

Open 10.30 to 3.00. Free entry.
