The Christmas Pud 5k is a five kilometre run, jog or walk along Stokes Bay promenade to Fort Gilkicker and back. Last year, 300 people entered, many dressed in festive outfits to raise money for local charities. Every finisher receives a Christmas pudding with chocolate treats for children.
