Gosport Bus Station, South Street, near to Gosport Ferry. 3 bays are available at the end of the concourse for setting down and picking up passengers, each with a maximum stay of 20 minutes.  Before first use of the Bus Station facilities coach operators are advised to contact  Mark Pam, Head of Property Services, Asset and Facilities Management, mark.pam@gosport.gov.uk - 02392 545563.

Layover for coaches can be either in Mumby Road Lorry Park or Fort Road Car Park.

There is additional space suitable for longer stay coach parking in the Gosport Bus Station Yard, and it may be possible to arrange layover for coaches on regular visits by agreement between the coach operator and First Bus (Hampshire & Dorset) Tel. Customer Services 0870 010 6022.

Stokes Bay

There is no coach parking in Stokes Bay and the car parks are not set out to allow setting down and picking up of passengers.  However there is a long lay-by on Stokes Bay Road, adjacent the Pebble Beach Car Park, which is well suited for setting down and picking up passengers and has capacity for 2 coaches. Waiting is not permitted, so layover would best take place at Fort Road car park.

Setting Down & Picking Up

For setting down and picking up passengers, coaches may stop at the roadside provided there are no loading restrictions - for example drop off in the Town centre could take place on South Street adjacent Walpole Park, or outside the Police Station.  Coaches should not stop at bus stops or in bus lay-bys marked with a continuous yellow line at the edge of the carriageway - they are for local bus services only.
