Gosport’s Big Day Out

Now in its sixth year, Gosport Borough Council presents the Big Day Out 2013 event. With a special focus on Family Fun, Heritage & Culture, and Sailing & Watersports there is something for all the family to enjoy.

Again we are offering a selection of FREE activities down at Stokes Bay including a chance to roll around in a Zorb ball. There will be lots of FREE fun activities for the kids, including Face Painting, a Merry-Go-Round, Activity Centre, and a Test Your Strength game, as well as the return of the ever-popular Golf Challenge. Whilst you’re there, pop into the Big Day Out Information Trailer and pick up your Treasure Trail quiz – entries received by 5pm will be entered into a free prize draw.

Town Centre Treats - As well as the ever-popular harbour cruises departing from the Ferry pontoon, the Town Centre is also host to a great selection of new activities this year.   Dance your way from the 1920s to the present day with FREE 30 minute sessions in Charleston, Swing, Disco and Street Dance available between 11 am and 3pm at the Falkland Gardens and throughout the High Street.
