Big Class sailing returns to Solent after 100 years!

Gosport is pleased to offer a temporary home to these two magnificent yachts during the inaugural Westward Cup, which will be held in the Solent between 5-11 July 2010, with Stokes Bay, Gosport, making an ideal place to watch the racing. Eleonora is a painstaking recreation of the much loved and very famous Westward, which raced in the Solent in the Big Class series, early in the twentieth century against yachts some of which were built by the famous Camper & Nicholson boatyard in Gosport.
Racing takes place during the week of 5 - 11 July as follows:
- Tuesday, 1030hrs approx race start
- Wednesday, 1030hrs approx race start
- Friday, 1030hrs approx race start
- Saturday, 1030hrs approx race start
