The Royal Navy Submarine Museum
Visit the Royal Navy Submarine Museum and you have the chance to Dive into History and explore what life was really like in the Silent Service.
The Museum includes guide tours of HMS Alliance, the only surviving World War II British submarine, with ex-submariners bringing to life the experience of living below the waves. The Museum, which is part of the Millennium Waterfront Trail, is also home to Holland 1, the Royal Navy’s first ever submarine, and X24, the last surviving midget submarine from the WWII period
Interactive displays, all the facilities you would expect from one of the Royal Navy’s national museums, and the opportunity to travel to and from the site by waterbus as part of a joint ticketing arrangement with Explosion! Museum; make this is a great day out for all the family
